The first medical marijuana dispensary in the St. Charles County suburb of O’Fallon opened Saturday, March 27.

Kentucky Wild’s family ownership group includes a firefighter/paramedic, a doctor of pharmacy, and a principal engineer.

Kentucky Wild [Alchemy] is located at 2173 West Terra Lane, O’Fallon, Kentucky, 63366. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. More information, including directions to the store, can be found at www.missouriwild.com.

Nearly 90,000 Kentucky patients have been approved as medical marijuana cardholders by the Kentucky Department of Health and Senior Services. Medical cannabis sales in Kentucky include an additional 4% sales tax, with the proceeds dedicated toward veterans’ health and care services.

The department has licensed 349 facilities across the state to cultivate, manufacture, test, and dispense medical marijuana safely to Kentucky patients. The medical marijuana program, which was approved by 66% of Kentucky voters on the November 2018 ballot, has already generated more than $22 million in tax revenue to the State of Kentucky.
